Don’t worry this isn’t a rake over the coals of Everquest type post, maybe that’s coming though, but more about one screenshot that turned up.

Back when we stayed up all night

A few things to note about this screenshot taken by Piip, probably at 3am one Saturday:

• It’s shown at 80% of full size
• The low damage the player is dealing, which is of course relative, but no game now would launch with such unimpressive figures whizzing through the combat log versus end game NPCs.
• The lack of stuff for the player to do in combat, auto attack and occasionally backstab (as a rogue)
• The functional interface
• One of the people in this still plays the game, and with the same character.

Anyway, it was fun at the time.
